Lawmakers were rated on their votes on 11 bills vital to Alaska small business during the 2009-2010 session of the Legislature. A brief description of each bill and how every state house member voted can be found on the NFIB/Alaska website at www.nfib.com/alaska in the left-hand column under the link "Voting Record (PDF)." State senators were not rated because of their unique organizational structure as a committee of the whole and agreement among themselves that no vote could come to the floor unless it had unanimous consent.
Olson was one of only four legislators to receive NFIB's Outstanding Legislator of the Year Award.
