Flu immunizations for seniors offered

Kenai Public Health is offering flu immunization clinics in October for high-risk individuals. Clinics will be held at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon today and Oct. 22; at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday and Oct. 24; at the Nikiski Senior Citizens Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday; and at the Sterling Senior Citizens Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

High-risk individuals wishing to be immunized at one of these clinics can call the location to sign up. High-risk individuals who cannot make it to one of these clinics can call the Kenai Public Health Center at 335-3400 to set up an immunization time.

The Kenai Public Health Center will offer flu immunizations for the general public starting Oct. 28. For more information, call 335-3400.

Flu immunizations will be given at the Homer Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the conference room.

Thursday: Scrabble at 9 a.m., Tripoly at 12:30 p.m., shopping and Halloween projects at 1 p.m.

Friday: Wellness clinic at 8 a.m., exercise at 9 a.m., walking and line dancing at 10:30 a.m., pinochle at 12:45 p.m., bowling at 1 p.m.

Monday: Exercise at 9 a.m., walking and line dancing at 10:30 a.m., ceramics at 12:30 p.m., pinochle at 12:45 p.m., shopping at 1 p.m.

Nikiski

Today: Ceramics, exercise at 4 p.m., Lions Club meeting at 7 p.m.

Wednesday: Board meeting at 4:30 p.m.
