KMS is selling sweatshirts and T-shirts. Order forms are available in the office. This is the last week orders can be turned in. For more information, call 283-4896.

The sixth and seventh grades and the exploratory teams are sponsoring a magazine sale to raise funds for the school. The kick-off was Sept. 29 and the drive continues through Monday. The magazine funds will be used to support the after-school tutor program.

Students of the month were treated to Burger King for lunch. The school thanks Toni Steward for driving.

Through the Box Tops for Education program, the school can earn cash to use to buy books when parents buy groceries, shop online or make purchases with a credit card.

In October, the seventh-grade classes and new students will be given a health screen, which will include height, weight, vision, hearing and TB testing. Volunteers are needed to help.

Progress reports were mailed out. If you did not receive one, call the office at 283-4896.

The borough soccer tournament will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Soldotna.

Seventh- and eighth-grade basketball intramurals begin Tuesday.

There will be a site council meeting at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 23 in the library.

The band and choir concert will be Oct. 23.

The end of the first quarter is Oct. 24.

Parent-teacher conferences will be Oct. 30 and 31.
