Soldotna Cooperative Preschool

The start of school has been exciting. The staff has enjoyed getting to know each of the preschoolers.

There is a new fish for the classroom.

The students have been learning about the changing of the seasons. They enjoyed going on a nature walk and collecting fallen leaves. The leaves will be used for a decoration project.

The students were introduced to the class mystery box. The box is given to two different preschoolers a week; the students choose something special to put into the box and then give clues to their classmates. The class then tries to guess what is in the box.

Students are learning the letters A and B and the corresponding sounds.

The class made alphabet letters from dough and painted them.

Throughout the week, the students will continue to learn new letters and numbers.
