Man charged with murder in Iliamna shooting

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An Iliamna man has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of another man in the isolated community last week.
Bert Foss, 62, was being held on the murder charge, according to Alaska State Troopers, in the death of Vincent Wassillie, 25.
The two men had been drinking together at Foss' home when they got into an argument and Foss shot Wassillie, troopers said. The shooting occurred just before midnight Thursday.
