A homemade Southern pecan pie, packed with plump premium pecans, is pie-eating at its best.

3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup fresh pecans
1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first five ingredients until blended. Pour into pie crust; top with fresh pecans. Bake 50-55 minutes.
