Group floats to the top when it comes to the river

As the seasons change, we reflect on the visitor season and our ability to serve our members while providing a positive visitor experience for thousands that arrive hoping to experience our wonderful community.

Several volunteers and organizations help at the Soldotna Visitors Center and one organization that rises to the top is Kenai River Sportfishing.

We would like to thank the Kenai River Sportfishing Association for again sponsoring and providing two porta-potties for the after-hours fisherman and visitors to the area. Kenai River Sportfishing also sponsored our River Walk Program. We have brochures and offer a twice daily walk down to the river, answer questions and talk about the great Kenai River, while providing information on the Kenai River watershed and all user groups that rely on this great river.
