Mrs. Lauria enjoyed art.

"She was the kindest person we ever knew. She never had a bad word to say about anybody and was always an optimist," her family said. "She had a good sense of humor and was always smiling. She loved her children and was a wonderful mother, 'Dearma' and aunt. The 'C's' made her happy."

Mrs. Lauria was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Melissa Lauria and Chad Landry of Soldotna; daughter Natalie Lauria of Soldotna; son Joshua Lauria of Pasa Robles, Calif.; adopted son, Shaun Bohling of California; grandson, Seth Landry; mother, Irene Henson; brother Donald Henson of Kenai; brothers and sisters-in-law David and Annyce Henson, and James and Maureen Henson, all of Soldotna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
