A man seriously injured in a fire near Soldotna last week in recovering.

Angeline Stewart, owner of a property at 36055 Greenridge St. outside of Soldotna that was ravaged by fire on Thursday, confirmed that Gerald Terp, 55, was the unidentified man who was airlifted to Seattle's Harborview Burn Center.

Stewart said on Monday that Terp was in "good condition," but had suffered serious burns on his left foot, right hand as well as to his lungs.

"There's a lot of unknowns," she said.

Stewart's age in the story published in Friday's Clarion was incorrectly reported by fire officials. Stewart is 47 years old.
