ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 28-year-old Wasilla man died early Friday when he lost control of his truck and it rolled over several times, the Alaska State Troopers say.
Crist Marrs was the only person in the vehicle when it went off the roadway. The accident happened about 3 a.m. at Mile 5.9 of Knik Goose Bay Road, troopers said.
Marrs was not wearing a seatbelt, and he was thrown 20- to 30 feet from his truck, troopers said. He suffered massive internal injuries and was pronounced dead at Valley Hospital.
Alcohol, speed and poor visibility are believed to have contributed to the crash, troopers said.
