Murkowski opens campaign office

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski will host an ice cream social from 4 to 5 p.m. today at her new Kenai Peninsula campaign office at 44109 Sterling Highway, Suite A, in Soldotna, next to Don Jose's.

Her office hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with hours of operation to increase shortly.

The office can provided yard signs, campaign literature and papers that explain Murkowski's stance on issues. The public is invited to drop off correspondence for her response. For more information, call 262-0997.
