Anyone wishing to purchase items in the display case may see any student. This fund-raiser benefits all the classrooms and the school's sports programs.
The wrestlers began selling tickets to raise money for their program. The cost is $20 each. Only 100 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be Nov. 1 and the winner will receive $1,000.
Tera Schnabl, Shila Greep and Leslie Morris will travel to Louisville, Ky., from Oct. 25 to 31 to attend an FFA convention. They will learn about careers in agriculture. The keynote speaker will be Joe Thiesman, and the convention will include competitions and entertainment from various country stars.
The Scholastic Book Fair will continue through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the library.
The volleyball team travels to Tok on Friday and Saturday and the wrestlers go to Houston.
Instruction for Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Publisher, Word and Excel, will be available if there is enough interest. Sessions will be held at the school from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 28 and Nov. 2. For more information, call the school.
The anatomy class will assemble a moose skeleton.
The seventh-graders are reading and doing art projects with the kindergarten through second-grade class. They also are recreating archeological digs and learning Cuneiform writing.
