The volleyball teams will play at Kenai on Thursday, with C-Team games beginning at 3 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, the volleyball teams are off to Anchorage for the Dimond-Service Tournament. The staff and students wish them good luck.
On Tuesday, the volleyball team will play against Soldotna High School at 3 p.m. at the school.
The swim team will host the last regular swim meet of the year Saturday. Three other teams will attend.
On Oct. 1, 45 students attended a presentation put on by the Center for Mediation and Community Dialogue (CMCD) at Kenai Peninsula College. The topic was "Social Civility." The presentation is part of the First Friday Dialogues of the CMCD Outreach Committee. It had the largest number of participates to date with the school's students comprising 75 percent of the audience. November's First Friday Dialogue is titled "Future of Democracy." It will be held three days after the November presidential election. December's topic will be "Domestic Violence." Students and community members are encouraged to attend.
Last week there was a spelling error of a volunteer who helped with the state cross country meet. The correct spelling is Hannah Pothast.
