Choat, Tucker marry in August

Melody Choat and Johnathan Tucker were married Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at Green Lake Chalet at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage. Michael Michell officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Myrna and Lowell Choat of Kenai.

The maid of honor was Harmony Choat, twin sister of the bride.

The groom is the son of Vivian and Larry Tucker or Poulsbo, Wash.

The best man was Wayne Tucker, brother of the groom.

A reception was held at the chalet following the ceremony.

Melody is a 1997 graduate of Nikiski High School and of Portland Community College. She is enrolled in the University of Alaska Anchorage nursing program.

Johnathan is a 1995 graduate of Napa High School in California. He is enlisted in the Air Force and is a UAA student.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and lives in Anchor-age.

Forms for engagements and weddings are available at the Clarion's Kenai and Soldotna offices. Color or black and white pictures also may be submitted. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned.

Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed.
