Book fair begins today

The Central Peninsula General Hospital Auxiliary will host a book fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday in the Borealis Room at the hospital. For more information, call Bonnie Nichols at 714-4500.

Multiple sclerosis group to meet

The multiple sclerosis support group will meet at noon today in the Borealis Room at Central Peninsula General Hospital. Participants are asked to bring a lunch. For more information, call Barbara at 394-6746.

KPBA schedules meeting

The Kenai Peninsula Builders Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Froso's Restaurant in Soldotna. All members are encouraged to attend. For more information, call 283-871.

Divorce support group forming

The Soldotna United Methodist Church is assisting with a formation of a divorce support group. The first meeting will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. It will utilize the book "Breaking and Mending" by Mary Lou Redding. The group is nondenominational.

Hospice training set

Hospice of the Central Peninsula and 1st Choice Home Health Care will offer hospice volunteer training at the Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Oct. 25 and 26 from 6 to 9 p.m.; and Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to presentations, a trip to Peninsula Memorial Chapel, a bereavement dramatization, by the Nikiski Middle-Senior High School drama department and videos and role playing exercises will take place.
