Kenai's Hall makes a tackle

Travis Hall, who was born and raised in Kenai, had one tackle in the Falcons' 17-10 loss to the Detroit Lions Sunday. Hall now has nine tackles seven solo and two assisted this season. He also has a fumble recovery. The Falcons are 4-1.

Soldotna's Christensen plays for Cornell

Lauren Christensen of Soldotna is a member of the Cornell College volleyball team. Christensen, a 2003 graduate of Soldotna High School, is a sophomore majoring in business and communications. She is the daughter of John and Paula Christensen of Soldotna.

Kenai's Ward gets kicks at George Fox

Kenai Central graduate Wally Ward is a junior defender on the soccer team at George Fox University, a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III school in Newberg, Ore. Ward has appeared in nine games for George Fox this year, but has not started a game. George Fox is currently 2-8-2.
