The Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly certified the results of the October 1st municipal elections last week and Borough Clerk Linda Murphy administered the oath of office to Borough Mayor Dale Bagley, who was re-elected for a second three-year term, and six of the seven newly elected Assembly members.
John Davis was elected to a one-year term for District 1, but was not present at Tuesday's meeting. Elected to two-year terms were Pete Sprague for District 2, and Paul Fischer for District 7. Elected for three-year terms were Grace Merkes for District 5, and Chris Moss for District 8.
The Assembly will elect officers by secret ballot at the next regularly scheduled meeting October 22nd.
