Three cheers for support of homecoming activities

As the cheerleading coach of Soldotna High School, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following local businesses for the success of our homecoming activities.

A huge "thank you" to Coca-Cola for the donation of the Coke trailer; to Sean Dusek, Al Howard and Mike Druce for allowing us the opportunity to participate in this event; to Mrs. Gardner for the use of the helium tanks; and to Mr. Carlson for the use of the metal shop.

I would like to thank the following parents of SoHi cheerleaders, for all of their time and efforts: Joyce Mullican, Linda Cusack, Reean Pitts, Chris Tilly, Denise Grubb, Meg Porter, Debbie Endries, Colleen and Guff Sherman and all of the other parents who came to help during the hectic homecoming weekend. Your time and efforts, along with your supporting of this program, are amazing. Thank you.

My thanks go to the following members of the SoHi Football Booster Club -- Helen Aye, Angela and Billyjo Goracke and sons, Stacy Warton, Terri Carter and Jodi Asimakopoulos -- for their help in making a balloon arch and inflating and hanging 600 balloons. I would also like to thank my assistant coach, Jessica Sherman, for all of her help throughout the season. You are awesome.

Finally, I would like to thank all of my cheerleaders. You have worked so hard this season with all of the fund-raising, volunteering for different community events, and during practices and games. I am so proud of all of you girls. Thank you all for helping make this program a success.
