The Pacific Intercultural Exchange is looking for 20 Alaska families willing to host high school students from various countries for a semester.
The students range in age from 15 to 18 and will arrive in January.
All exchange students are prescreened, speak English and have medical insurance. They also have money to cover clothing, school supplies and entertainment costs.
Single parents, retired individuals and families with or without children are eligible to host students. Host families are not paid, but may be able to claim $50 per month in charitable contributions on their income tax. For more information, call (800) 894-7633.
