On Sept. 22 members of the Alaska Kenai Peninsula Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI) presented area Alaska Young Marines with two complete Leupold scope kits. The Young Marines will send the scopes to Iraq. Lance Cpl. Jeremy White of the USMC of Kenai will distribute the scopes within his unit. These scopes, along with four other scopes the Young Marines had sent earlier, will stay with the unit to be used by the Special Forces and recon teams.
