Caring is evident in time, effort spent

The LeeShore Center would like to thank the United Way Day of Caring volunteers.

Ron Delaney, Clifford Price, Randall Nickel, and Teresa Moran of Fred Meyer sanded and painted a deck and washed windows at the Emergency Shelter and out Transitional Living facilities.

Members of the Kenai Central High School football team, accompanied by Coach Jim Beeson and BP employee and KCHS football program supporter, Jim Montgomery also donated time for the United Way Day of Caring. This energetic group raked and bagged leaves and helped with storing summer things for the winter.

Our thanks to Ashlynn Ross, Ty Smith, Mandy Anderson, Dusty Ward, Stuart Stretch, Kirt Louthan, Michael Dermody, Jeremy Norlock, Bill Camphalee, Jaron Dambacher, Josh Werba, Daniel Gustkey, Greg Aho, Cody Graham, and William Manuel, Coach Beeson, and Mr. Montgomery for all of your hard work. Community volunteers such as these are invaluable. Thank you so much!

Cheri Smith, executive director
