Book fair fundraiser ends today

The Connections Home-school Program's Scholastic book fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at its office at 143 East Park Ave. (across from Soldotna Elementary School). It is open to the public. For more information, call 714-8880.

Youth Halloween party Saturday

The Kenai Eagles will host a costume party for children ages 12 and under from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the club.

Cabin Hoppers kick off set

The Caribou Hills Cabin Hoppers will hold a potluck kick off party from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Soldotna Elks. Door prizes, silent auction, split the pot, snowmachine movies on the big screen and drawing for its snowmachine raffle are planned. For more information, call Les Crane at 262-7102.

Fall bazaar, bake sale slated

The Nikiski Senior Citizens Center will host its annual fall bazaar and bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 1 and 2 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3. Tables are available for vendors to rent. Rental cost are $15 a day or $10 for three days. For more information or to rent a table, call 776-7654.
