CIRI shareholder funds shouldn't go to campaigns

It has been reported that several regional corporations contributed as much as $140,000 each for a total of $805,000 to Alaskans Standing Together, a new policital action committee supporting the election of Murkowski.

In addition to funding Alaskans Standing Together CIRI funds the CEO group and AFN.

From 1999-2006 CIRI shareholders donated over $485,000 to the CEO group and they found the AFN costs yearly which is stated in excess of $20,000. What is the actual amount donated each year to AFN?

My family does not believe CIRI shareholders moneys should be used by CIRI for political donations to any candidate. The moneys should go to shareholders instead to meet their increasing costs of living. If CIRI wants to donate money to the politicans let them donate their own moneys -- not shareholders moneys.
