Campbell, Shoemaker marry in Idaho

Jennifer Campbell and Jonathan Shoemaker were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, in an afternoon ceremony at the Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Meridian, Idaho. The Rev. Chuck Taylor officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Nancy Campbell of Soldotna. She wore a floor-length, A-line dress and carried a bouquet of yellow and blue roses and daisies.

Jami Campbell of Soldotna was the maid of honor. Lyla Hagood of Soldotna, Janelle Stark of Oregon and Rachelle Cronrath of Washington were the bridesmaids.

The groom is the son of Gary and Arlene Cooper of Nampa, Idaho.

His attendants were Adam Walker, Darren Moore, Luke Taylor and Josh Davis, all of Idaho.

Special music during the ceremony was provided by Megan Griff and Kristen Hyatt, both of Washington.

Mechele Jones, cousin of the groom, made seven cakes for the reception, which was held in the church's fellowship hall.

The bride attends Northwest Nazarene University and plans to graduate in May with a degree in nursing.

The groom attends the College of Southern Idaho, where he plans to receive a welding certificate in December. He is a welder at Interstate West Custom Trailers in Nampa.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise. They live in Nampa.

Forms for engagements and weddings are available at the Clarion's Kenai and Soldotna offices. Color or black and white pictures also may be submitted. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned.

Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed.
