Primary students will have school Friday. The Kenai Fire Department will visit the students to share fire safety activities on that day.

Congratulations to the following students for demonstrating positive attitudes toward learning: kindergartner Tristan Bulot, first-grader Maliko Kaona and second-grader Maurie Knowlton.

The staff would like to thank the following students for sharing this week: Jacey Ross brought a volcano and demonstrated lava flow; Taylor Krueger brought a wasp nest and shared information about wasps; Jasmine Carter and Adaya Pollock brought first-aid kits, Kayla McVeigh shared a jellyfish sting kit; Joseph Coval talked about keeping hands protected in cold weather; and Connor Jones shared a water syringe used for cleaning wounds.

Parent-teacher conferences will be held from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Monday and from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Conference slips were sent Monday. Parents are reminded to call the office if they did not receive a conference slip.
