2002 RECORD: Twenty-nine starts and 11 top-10 finishes to be ninth in the Busch Series standings; two starts, one victory on the Winston Cup Series

PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS: Hired to be a third driver for Chip Ganassi in 2003, but was forged into action this season when Marlin broke his neck in a crash Sept. 29 at Kansas City, Kan.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Won Sunday's UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in his second career start on the Winston Cup Series. He will skip this week's race at Martinsville, Va., so he can fulfill his commitment to the Busch Series at Memphis, Tenn.
