Hall has assisted tackle

Travis Hall, who was born and raised in Kenai, had an assisted tackle in the San Francisco 49ers’ 28-3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 9. Hall is a defensive end for the 49ers.

Green plays with Las Vegas

Lee Green, a graduate of Soldotna High School, is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound defender for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. This will be Green’s first full year in the pros. Last winter, he completed his four-year career at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Syverson gets All-MWC honors

Jenna Syverson, a 2003 graduate of Soldotna High School, was named to the All-Mountain West Conference first team as a sophomore.

Syverson is currently a junior swimmer at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M. Syverson is studying sports medicine.

Sterling’s Smith plays for UAA

Former Soldotna High School standout Billy Smith is a 6-0, 186-pound freshman forward on the University of Alaska Anchorage hockey team this season. In UAA’s first game of the season, Smith had an assist Oct. 14 in the Seawolves’ 6-3 victory over Rensselaer at the Sullivan Arena.
