Flu immunizations for seniors offered

Kenai Public Health is offering flu immunization clinics in October for high-risk individuals. Clinics will be held at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon today; at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday; and at the Sterling Senior Citizens Center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday.

High-risk individuals wishing to be immunized at one of these clinics can call the location to sign up. High-risk individuals who cannot make it to one of these clinics can call the Kenai Public Health Center at 335-3400 to set up an immunization time.

The Kenai Public Health Center will offer flu immunizations for the general public starting Monday. For more information, call 335-3400.

Fall bazaar planned

The Soldotna Senior Citizens Center's annual fall bazaar and sixth annual Peninsula Area Art Show will be Nov. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of baked goods and a special lunch menu will be available. For more information, call 262-2322.

Christmas bazaar slated

The Sterling Senior Citizens Center will have a Christmas bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9 with crafts, food and a bake sale. The Elderberry Cafe will be open. Tables can be rented for $25. For more information, call 262-6808 or 262-2943.
