Many contribute to success of scholarship dinner, auction

We wish to extend our appreciation to all those individuals and businesses that donated items and cash for this year's Thelma McConnell Scholarship dinner and auction. We are fortunate to live in a community that supports us so well.

We also wish to express a special thanks to Retha Hall for getting everything and everyone organized and to David Lashley, Aquio Purugganan, Dorothy Pritchard, Pam Lashley and Noelita Lopez for cooking such a delicious and hearty meal. Those persons donating a prime rib were Barbara Brinkerhoff, Robert and Delores Harrison, Tony and Sherry Collins-worth, Greg and Leigh Sanger, David and Pam Lashley, Rhoda Turinsky, Duane and Virginia McGhan and Jim and Nedra Evenson.

Thanks also to Denver Copeland for donating his time and expertise as auctioneer; to Cory McGee for letting us use his sound system; and to Robert Booth and Geri Brigham for providing our entertainment.

Our fall decorations were by Dorothy Pritchard, Sherry Collinsworth, Diana Wray, Pam Lashley, Retha Hall, Loretta Brown, Alex Brown, Julian Harris and Alice Lashley. Phone callers were Carmen Thomas and Adam, Diana Wray, Anna Mae Miller, Carol Leeper and Sandy Jones. Thanks to Dale Crouch and Diana Wray for helping pack ceramics. Ceramics were poured, prepped and painted by Janet Varvais, Nancy Aitken and Jeanine Ackers.

Bob Harrison, Tom Pritchard, Jim Evenson, Howard Wray, Tony Collinsworth, Ben Quesnel, Nick Russell, Skyler Galien, Nikki De Shong, Jasayne Hagstrom, Thomas Galloway, Zachary Sanger and Anthony Coveyou did the work of tables and chairs. Saturday night helpers were Megan Kennedy, Shanda Dahlen, Debbie Duggin, Ramona Baker, Anjani Salonen, Skyler Galien and Zach Womack.

Last but certainly not least we want to express our sincere thanks to all of you who attended and made this year another huge success. See you again next year!
