HEA brightens resident's night

On Sept. 24 close to noon, a tree felled by the wind pulled down the power lines and broke our home's transformer pole. Within an hour a HEA assessment crew arrived to determine the damage and told me that the repair crews would be there as soon as possible but I realized that, because of all the other outages, it was likely repairs would not be completed until the following day.

At around 7 p.m. the crews arrived and worked late into the night setting a new pole and reinstalled all the cable that earlier in the day was laying on our neighbor's and our lawn.

We feel fortunate to be members of this utility cooperative and are very grateful to the employees of HEA for working very hard throughout the night to restore electrical service to many homes, including the two on our lane.

Thank you to the guys that let me know I had lost my hub cap off my Buick. I found it.
