Unity feast slated

The Baha'i of Soldotna and Ridgeway Unity Feast at 7 p.m. Ridgeway Bahai Center on Knight Drive in Soldotna. The feast is designed for people to come together from all religions and backgrounds, in a spirit of friendship, understanding anddevotionto explore spirituality from the world's major religions.

The goal is to focus on things humans have in common, so people may do their part to bringharmonyto humanity.

Attendees will listen to holy writings from different faiths and hear musical entertainment from cultures around the world.

Refreshments will be served.

Gospel meetings set

The Funny River Church of Christ will host gospel meetings at the church at MIle 1/4 Funny River Road in Soldotna. The featured speaker will be Mike Willis. Meetings will be held at 10 and 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Oct. 31.

Fall, Halloween activities slated

* A Fall Festival will be held at the Sterling United Pentecostal Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 with candy for the kids from "Trunk-or-Treat", games with free prizes, a bonfire and other activities. For a church fundraiser, hot dogs ala carte will be available for a meal. The church is on Swanson River Road at Entrada.

* The Kenai Christian Church will host a trunk-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at 104 McKinley Street in Kenai. Live music, candy prizes, hotdogs and macaroni and cheese will be provided while it last.

* Grace Lutheran School and Church will sponsor an October Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. It is open to the public. Food, fellowship and games in a German setting are planned. Costumes are encouraged. There will be a soup and dessert cook off. Each family is asked to donate a bag of candy for game prizes.

Lutefisk, lefse dinner set

Christ Lutheran Church will host a lutefisk and lefse dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at the church at Mile 1/4 of the Kenai Spur Highway, across from Mykle's in Soldotna. A free will offering will be accepted.
