Dudley graduates Naval training
Navy Seaman Kyle Dudley recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at the Recruit Training Command Center in Great Lakes, Ill.
During his eight-week program, Dudley completed classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, fire fighting, water safety and survival and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis also was placed on physical fitness.
Training was concluded with "Battle Stations," an exercise used to galvanize the basic warrior attributes of sacrifice, dedication, teamwork and endurance in each recruit through the practical application of basic Navy skills and the core values of honor, courage and commitment.
Dudley is the son of Janice Dudley of Sterling and Earl E. Dudley of St. Petersburg, Fla., and is a 2004 graduate of Skyview High School.
