Used book sale planned

Soldotna Public Library volunteers will hold a used book sale from 1 to 4 :30 p.m. today at the library. The library is accepting donations of books and puzzles in good condition. For more information, call 262-4227.

Basketball camp set to shoot

Halloween party set for fun

Decanter Inn RV Park will host a Haunted Swamp for children in the Kasilof community at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Candy and prizes are some of the planned activities.

Screenings available

Frontier Community Services Early Intervention and the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will hold developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at Frontier Community Services on Kalifornsky Beach Road. Vision and hearing tests also will be available.
