Soldotna resident Heather L. LeVeque died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was 19.

Miss LeVeque was born July 26, 1985, in Soldotna, the daughter of Michael and Linda LeVeque. She grew up and was raised in Soldotna and graduated from Kenai Alternative High School in 2003. She was in Arizona attending Coconino Community College, aspiring to become a social worker.

"Heather had a heart of gold and shared her wealth with everyone she came in contact with. Her beautiful face and sparkling smiles will not be forgotten. She was a forever and faithful friend to all those that knew and loved her," her family said.

"We will be forever thankful for the gifts that she has given us, such as her compassionate heart and sweet carefree spirit. One of the greatest lessons Heather taught everyone was to be nonjudgmental of others and give liberally. She truly strived to walk as Jesus did and loved him with all of her heart."
