Parent-teacher conferences will be held Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday morning. Conferences for seventh through 12th grades will be held "arena style" in the gym.
There will be no school on Friday.
The first-grade class spent a day at the Alaska Zoo. The study of the zoo included math problems, alphabetical order, creative writing and art.
The preschool, kindergarten and first-grade classes joined together to study dinosaurs. The students made headbands, painted, hunted for fossils in cornmeal and made puppets to learn more about dinosaurs.
Ron Gherman, athletic director, invites anyone who would like to volunteer with the sports program to call 262-5101. The athletic committee will hold meetings throughout November.
The annual fall banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the gymnasium. Entertainment will be provided by the band. Tickets are available at the office for $15 or can be picked up the night of the banquet. People wanting to attend must R.S.V.P. by Nov. 12 at 262-5101. The public is invited.

Friday Parent-teacher conferences from 9 a.m. to noon, no school; and
