The students finished the personal best lifelong guideline last week. Parents are encouraged to ask their child about it.
Today is the school's Halloween-harvest parade beginning at 11:15 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend.
Parent-teacher conferences are Thursday and Friday and there is no school those days. Parents are encouraged to call their child's teacher if they are not sure of the scheduled conference day and time.
Due to a problem in the camera system during school pictures in September, some pictures did not turn out. Many students had their pictures taken again and those portraits are due back next week. If your student missed having their picture taken or retaken, Nov. 10 will be the final picture day.
Thank you to Dr. Sue Snyder for visiting the school last week and providing activities and materials for the students and teachers.
First-graders are beginning to learn time, starting with the hour. The children can practice with the clocks they made. Parents are encouraged to talk with their student about their daily schedule and what time it is when things happen.
As a reminder, parents should send a note or call the office at 283-0804 before 1 p.m. if there will be changes in your child's after-school schedule.
