Sterling Head Start

The children have been learning about different pets. They visited with a pet box turtle and a puppy.

The children also painted pet rocks.

Spanish words the students learned this week were "mascota," pet and "perro," dog.

The afternoon class took a field trip to the fire station. Thank you Fire Marshal Gordon for teaching the children about fire safety. The children left with posters, crayons and fire hats to take home with them.

Thank you to Ms. Carolyn for teaching the classes more sign language.
