KPHA goes 2-0-1 in Fairbanks

The Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association Squirt B team played three games this weekend in Fairbanks, winning two and tieing one.

KPHA started with a 2-0 win over the Northern Lights. Goalie Keegan Remsen posted the shutout. The goals came from Tyler Jensen, on an assist by Drew Alkire, and Eric Johnson, on an assist by Jenna Redford. KPHA then tied the Fairbanks Arctic Lions 2-2. Remsen had 13 saves in the game. The goals came from Zack Waters, on an assist by Jensen, and Branden Fisher unassisted.

Finally, KPHA topped the Northern Lights by a score of 4-1. Goalie William Granger had eight saves in the game. The goals came from Jensen, on an assist from Waters, Matt Silver, on an assist by Jensen, Zack Sonnichsen, on assist by Brad Duwe, and Duwe, on an assist by Sonnichsen.
