Area chambers set schedules

Bill Popp, oil, gas and mining liaison for the Kenai Peninsula Borough will speak at noon today at the Nikiski Chamber of Commerce luncheon at Ohana's Family Restaurant. Next week's luncheon will feature Nikiski Students of the Month and a presentation on Connections, the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District's home school program. A "What's up, what's new?" presentation spotlighting 10 businesses will take place at noon Tuesday at the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Riverside House. For more information, call Michelle at 262-9814.

Chamber rec. guide seeks entries

The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce is working on its annual Recreation and Visitors Guide for 2006. Members can include a business in the guide by calling Robyn at 262-9814. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 15.
