Computer incident is in the past

Posted: Thursday, October 28, 2010

What Joe Miller did was absolutely wrong, but he paid his dues, faced the consequences of his misdeed and moved on. It's done and over.

I can think of a hundred other uses of a government computer that are far worse than what Joe did. But that's not the point.

The point is that thinking Alaskans look at what is happening in the media now with far greater disgust than the infraction committed by Joe then.

Lex talionis, measure for measure, let the punishment fit the crime. The man paid for his mistake already. Isn't it time we release him from the whipping post?
