Knowles will work to lower drug costs

Posted: Friday, October 29, 2004

When Tony Knowles was governor, he worked industriously to find ways to lower costs and he was quite successful. Now that he's running for Senate, I'm ecstatic that he'll be able to fight for us at a much higher level.

I truly feel that, should Tony win, all Alaskans, especially those of us who spend an arm and a leg on prescription drugs, will benefit tremendously. Tony has always put the interests of normal Alaskans before those of big pharmaceutical companies, who profit most from high drug costs, and I have every confidence he'll do the same in Washington.
