Posted: Wednesday, October 31, 2001

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man died after the truck camper he was sleeping in caught fire in Ketchikan, Alaska State Troopers said.

Aaron B. Gentry, 41, died Saturday at Air Marine Harbor.

Troopers said Gentry was staying in a 1976 Chevrolet truck with an attached camper. Spokesman Greg Wilkinson said it appears that Gentry used the camper stove as a heat source and it ignited the vehicle.
