KETCHIKAN (AP) -- A Klawock woman is accused of dealing large amounts of methamphetamine on Prince of Wales Island.
Esther Ruiz Heathers, 34, was indicted Oct. 3 on one count of first-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance for allegedly selling methamphetamine to a 15-year-old in Craig.
Heathers also is charged with two counts of third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
According to complaints filed in court by Craig police, Heathers allegedly sold 3 ounces of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
The complaints state that police also obtained a search warrant for Heathers' Klawock trailer and found about 5 ounces of methamphetamine as well as digital scales, packaging material and about $10,000 cash.
