The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District board is scheduled to review its policy on the solicitation of funds from and by students at its regular meeting slated for 7 p.m. tonight at Seward High School.

Other business on the school board's agenda includes school activity reports by administrator Mark Norgren on Hope Elementary and High School and Moose Pass Elementary School.

The board also is scheduled to present a Golden Apple Award to METCO Inc. for going above and beyond in benefiting the borough school district by developing a new cross country course for Seward High School.

Named in the citation are David and Frank Dieckgraeff and Tom Gillespie, of METCO.

Representatives of the Seward Seahawk baseball program are slated to give the board a report on the community-sponsored high school baseball team's past season.
