Teachers, students appreciate help with booth

Posted: Tuesday, November 01, 2005

The fifth-grade teachers and students at Mountain View Elementary would like to thank all the businesses and parents who generously donated prizes to our bingo booth held during our school's Halloween Carnival on Oct. 20.

A pat on the back to Regal Cinemas, New Peking, Alaska Lanes, Three Bears, The Blue Grouse, RD's Barber Shop, Auto Wash, West Chiropractic, Rosita's, Kenai Aviation, Country Foods, Tesoro, Reindeer Pause, Burger Bus, High Speed Gear, Sweeney's, A New Salon, Key Bank, Stylistix, First National Bank of Anchorage, Arctic Winter Games and Frames and Things.

All proceeds go toward our students' end-of-the-year field trips. Many thanks also to those parents who worked in the room the night of the carnival. Special thanks to Dena Cunningham and Gina Dragseth, who worked tirelessly gathering prizes and readying them for bingo night.

Finally, much appreciation to those who participated in bingo and made it such a rewarding night for all. What a great community in which we live!
