Library estimate cut in half: Soldotna council sees ideas for new addition
"Prices slashed. Build now," might have been a fitting title for the architect's presentation last week describing plans for a Soldotna library expansion.

Remembrance event planned
On Nov. 18 CPH is holding an event in remembrance of the Nov. 26, 2008, shooting that left a former hospital employee and an administrator dead and another critically wounded. The event, which is open to the public, starts at 10 a.m., and will include a service and a walk outside the hospital with prayer and song.
