ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man sought in connection with a September shooting outside an Anchorage bar was arrested Wednesday in Kansas City.
Police said Shawn Cloyd, 29, was found hiding in the basement of a woman's apartment by the Kansas City Fugitive Apprehension Team. A tipster told police where they could find Cloyd.
Cloyd is suspected of shooting Eric Chaney, 23, in the parking lot of the Moment Reggae Pub on Sept. 2. Chaney was seriously injured.
Police said they are making arrangements to bring Cloyd back to Alaska.
