Anchorage resident Marguerite J. Bible died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at her home. She was 82.
Private services will be held for her family, and her ashes will be scattered in southern California.
Mrs. Bible was born Nov. 19, 1917, in Santa Monica, Calif. She graduated from Santa Monica High School and later from beauty college. In 1982, she moved to Alaska, where she lived in the Kenai-Soldotna area until moving to Anchorage in 1986.
She loved fishing, traveling, boating with friends and family gatherings. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Her family said she was "a very loving, caring wife and mother and an inspiration to all her family. She dedicated herself to the happiness and goodwill of all she touched. She will be greatly missed by all."
Mrs. Bible is survived by her husband, Ward E. Bible of Anchorage; sons and daughters-in-law Dennis W. and Sue Bible of Soldotna, and Glenn G. and Sue W. Bible of Anchorage; grandsons Scott B. Bible of Kenai, and Ryan G. Bible of Riverside, Calif.; granddaughters Christine M. Crosby of Nipomo, Calif., and Courtney S. Bible of Apple Valley, Calif.; and great-grandson, Bradley Bible of Kenai, and great-granddaughters Desiree Bible and Carissa Bible of Kenai.
Arrangements were made by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
