Kevin Matsumoto, a right-handed pitcher, will return to the Peninsula Oilers this summer after playing with them in 2006.
A junior at Hawaii Pacific University, Matsumoto went 3-1 with a 1.78 ERA in 30 innings for the Oilers when they won the Alaska Baseball League title.
The 6-foot, 200-pounder is majoring in business management and calls Kailua, Hawaii, home.
