JUNEAU (AP) -- A former school janitor has been sentenced to six years in prison for sexual assault on a relative.

Stanley Brown, 47, pleaded guilty in July to second-degree sexual assault as part of a plea bargain.

Brown admitted giving a powerful drug to the woman, raping her while she was unconscious, and videotaping the incident.

Juneau Superior Court Judge Larry Weeks sentenced Brown Thursday to 10 years in prison with four years suspended, and five years of probation.

The original charges against Brown included third-degree sexual assault and incest, both felonies, stemming from the videotaped assault.

He also was charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, a felony, stemming from a February incident during which he was accused of raped a 16-year-old girl in his family.

Those charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.
